Hey FlightPC team, congratulations on creating what sounds like the world’s largest oil-cooled PC! The concept is jaw-dropping. Could you please release a detailed build video — maybe even a mini-series — explaining the design process, materials used, and performance benchmarks? It would be awesome to see how such a huge oil-cooled setup manages heat and power.
Hi there, I have read about oil-cooling projects before, but never on this scale. Please post a video showing the sheer size of the tank, the PC components inside, and how the oil circulates. Seeing the bubbles, lights, and motion would be mesmerizing. A deep technical explanation would make it even better, we’re all curious.
Hey there fantastic blog! Does running a blog similar, This flight sim PC site rocks!
Greetings fellow pilots! With my new FlightPC computer, every takeoff and landing feels lifelike. Zero lag, just pure immersion. Thanks FlightPC, you’ve earned a lifelong customer.
Hi! That’s such a cool (literally!) project you’re working on. When you have a moment, could you share the link to the photos and video of your oil-cooled PC? Can’t wait to see it! Please!!!
It’s amazing to pay a visit to this website and reading the views of all friends regarding custom computers and flight simulation, while I am also keen of getting know-how and learning a lot. Don’t have money to get a new computer yet, hopefully soon.
Greetings everyone. Absolutely thrilled with my new flight-sim rig that I got from FlightPC.net about 3 weeks ago — it’s been an absolute beast for long sessions in VR. I went with a Intel Core i9-14900K paired with an ASUS ROG Maximus Z790 Hero motherboard, and the performance has been rock-solid even under heavy simulation loads. For memory, I got 128 GB (4×32 GB) of Corsair Dominator Platinum RGB DDR5-6000, which gives plenty of headroom for complex cockpits and multiscreen workloads.
Storage is handled by dual ultra-fast NVMe drives — a 2 TB Samsung 9100 PRO for the OS and flight sims, and a 20 TB WD Black SN850X dedicated to scenery libraries and add-ons. Load times are essentially nonexistent, and scenery streaming stays smooth even in high-density areas.
On the GPU side, I’m running an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 Founders Edition with custom liquid cooler, and it’s been phenomenal. In VR flight sims like DCS World, X-Plane 12, and Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, I’m able to crank up settings to ultra, enjoy high frame rates, and keep a solid, immersive experience without stutters.
Cooling is handled with dual custom loops — EK-WB Quantum Liquid Cooling with a 360 mm radiator up front and a 360 mm on top — so even during marathon sessions, CPU and GPU temps stay cool and stable under max load. The whole build glows thanks to Corsair iCUE-controlled RGB, which gives it that premium, enthusiast look without being over-the-top.
Overall, this PC feels awesome, like it was made for hardcore flight sim fans — especially if you’re running VR headsets like the Pico 4, HTC Vive Pro 2 (as me), or Valve Index. Long flights stay smooth and stable, temperatures are well-controlled, and the graphical fidelity makes every sortie and scenic flight genuinely immersive.
What i do not understood is actually how you’re no longer really much more well-preferred than you may be now. You’re very intelligent. You know thus significantly in terms of PC flying and games subject, made me personally believe it from a lot of numerous angles. Your individual stuffs great. At all times deal with it up!
First off I would like to say superb blog! Also perfect PCs for serious sim pilots. Everything from the airflow design to the liquid cooling loop is clearly well thought out. I can run complex scenarios without stutters. I’m beyond impressed with the quality of this build.
I am interested now. Your oil-cooled computer sounds seriously impressive. Could you post the link to the photos please. I’d love to see how it performs and what the setup looks like.

I was nervous ordering a custom build online, but this company exceeded every expectation. The system runs my combat sims buttery smooth, even during massive dogfights, and the liquid cooling is incredibly efficient and quiet. The RGB lighting is clean and tasteful, not overdone, and the overall build quality is top-tier. Totally worth it.
WOW!!! From the moment I powered it on, I could tell this PC was built by pros. My flight sim performance doubled compared to my old setup, and the temperatures stay impressively low thanks to the liquid cooling. The 3D amazing RGB lighting adds a really immersive vibe to my sim cockpit. Everything arrived perfectly tuned and ready to fly.
Have you ever considered about including a little bit more than just your articles about flight simulators? I mean, what you say is fundamental and all. However imagine if you added some great images of jet fighters or video clips of air combat to give your posts more, “pop”! Your gaming rig content is excellent but with images and clips, this website could undeniably be one of the best in its field.
This is hands down the best custom PC I’ve ever owned. My combat flight sims run flawlessly on ultra settings, and the liquid cooling keeps everything whisper quiet even during long sessions. The RGB lighting is gorgeous and customizable, and the whole system just feels premium. It’s rare to find a company that nails both performance and aesthetics this well. Love it!

I ordered a custom liquid-cooled rig specifically for flight simulation, and I’m blown away by how smooth everything runs. The performance is rock solid even in the most demanding scenarios, and the RGB lighting looks absolutely stunning on my desk. You can tell real care went into the build, from the cable management to the cooling setup. This PC feels like it was built by people who actually game.
I’ve owned several prebuilt PCs before, but nothing compares to the craftsmanship from FlightPC. Cable management is flawless, temps stay insanely low, and the system looks like a piece of art.
Hola! I’ve been following your website for some time now and finally got the courage to go ahead and give you a shout out from Houston Texas! Just wanted to mention keep up the fantastic job!
Thanks FlightPC.net, I’ve have been looking for dependable place to order my PC for a while and yours is the greatest I’ve found out so far. My new PC is hands-down the most refined Microsoft Flight Simulator (MSFS) machine I’ve ever used, and it goes far beyond simply being a “fast PC.” The custom liquid-cooling loop keeps CPU and GPU temperatures exceptionally low and stable during long-haul flights, dense photogrammetry cities, and heavy glass-cockpit aircraft where MSFS is notoriously demanding. Frame pacing is smooth and consistent across a multi-monitor surround setup, eliminating stutters during low-altitude approaches, live weather, and real-time traffic. The tuning is clearly done by people who understand how MSFS stresses single-thread performance, memory latency, and GPU bandwidth all at once. On top of that, the RGB lighting is tasteful and perfectly synchronized, highlighting the immaculate tubing runs and cable management without distracting from the cockpit experience. This isn’t just a computer—it’s a carefully engineered simulation platform where cooling, acoustics, visuals, and raw performance come together seamlessly.
FlightPC.net turned my vision into reality in a way my previous system never could. After upgrading specifically for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, the difference was immediate and measurable—dramatically higher and more stable frame rates in dense photogrammetry cities, far smoother glass-cockpit refresh rates, and virtually zero stutters during low-altitude approaches. The custom liquid-cooling loop keeps CPU and GPU temperatures consistently low under sustained main-thread load, which is critical for MSFS, and completely eliminated the thermal throttling I used to see on long-haul flights. Frame pacing is exceptionally smooth across my multi-monitor setup, even with high LOD, traffic, and weather settings enabled. The RGB implementation is elegant and well-balanced, not just flashy, and the internal layout shows serious engineering discipline—clean tubing runs, excellent airflow planning, and immaculate cable management. This isn’t just a cosmetic upgrade; it’s a precision-built simulation platform that feels purpose-designed for serious flight simming. Beautiful, brutally fast, and technically superior in every way, this system from FlightPC.net is a night-and-day upgrade from my previous computer.
It’s genuinely very difficult to build a oil-cooled computer. Would you mind sharing the link to the videos? I’d love to see your handiwork!
Upgrading to a custom liquid-cooled system from FlightPC.net was an immediately noticeable leap forward for Microsoft Flight Simulator, both visually and technically, compared to my previous computer. My old system struggled with CPU bottlenecks, inconsistent frame times, and thermal throttling in dense photogrammetry cities, but this new build maintains smooth, stable performance even at ultra settings with high LOD values. The liquid cooling keeps CPU and GPU temperatures remarkably low under sustained load, which translates directly into consistent clock speeds and noticeably smoother frame pacing—especially critical in MSFS during low-altitude approaches and complex weather scenarios. Glass cockpit refresh rates are rock solid, stutters are virtually gone, and terrain streaming feels dramatically faster. The upgrade was instantly obvious at my desk as well: the system is nearly silent, the custom loop is clean and efficient, and the RGB lighting adds a refined, high-end glow rather than distracting flash. This isn’t just a faster PC—it’s a purpose-built simulation machine that finally lets MSFS run the way it was meant to, without compromises.
You’re so interesting! I don’t suppose I have read something like this before. So nice to discover another person with a few genuine thoughts on this subject. Seriously.. many thanks for starting this up. This Flight Sim web site is something that’s needed on the web, someone with a little originality!
What’s up everyone. I am Kavin W, it’s my first time commenting here. I upgraded to a fully custom liquid-cooled system from FlightPC.net, and the difference compared to my previous computer is immediately noticeable, especially in DCS World, which is my primary use case. DCS is extremely demanding on both CPU single-core performance and sustained GPU load, particularly during long multiplayer missions with complex avionics, large maps, and heavy AI activity, and this system handles it effortlessly. Frame times are consistently smooth, CPU and GPU clocks remain stable for hours, and there’s zero thermal throttling—even during extended sorties that previously pushed my old rig into heat-related instability. The custom liquid cooling loop is clearly engineered with real thermal headroom in mind: coolant temps stay remarkably low, fans never ramp aggressively, and overall noise levels remain minimal even under sustained load. Memory stability, storage performance, and overall system responsiveness feel dialed in, not just “good enough.” This PC genuinely feels like it was designed by engineers who understand simulation workloads, not just assembled for benchmarks. The RGB implementation is clean and intentional, adding depth and polish to the setup without distracting from immersion, while the cooling efficiency is on an entirely different level. Very happy with the results—this is the first PC I’ve owned that feels purpose-built for serious flight simulation rather than just general gaming.
I have read several good flight sim articles here. Definitely worth bookmarking for revisiting. I wonder how much effort you put to create such a great informative site. I am also thinking about ordering PC from you, my friend swears that he got from you the ultimate surround gaming PC, with optimized everything perfectly: thermals, airflow, visuals, and performance. He said he got a rock-solid system that looks as good as it runs.
Sweet blog! I found it while searching on Yahoo News. Do you have any tips on how to get listed in Yahoo News? I’ve been trying for a while but I never seem to get there! Many thanks.
Pretty great company and cool website. I just stumbled upon your weblog and wanted to say that I have really loved browsing your weblog posts. After a while, I placed an order. Could not be happier with the new computer. FlightPC.net completely exceeded my expectations. From the moment I unboxed my system, I could tell this was built by people who truly care about craftsmanship. The liquid cooling is whisper-quiet, the RGB lighting is perfectly balanced (not overdone), and running triple 4K monitors feels unbelievably smooth. This is hands-down the best PC I’ve ever owned.
Your mode of explaining everything is genuinely pleasant, everyone was so helpful. Thanks a lot FlightPC.net team! My sim room finally feels complete. The RGB lighting complements my cockpit setup perfectly, and the system just looks incredible on display. Friends constantly ask where I got it. Performance-wise, it’s a monster. A perfect blend of power and aesthetics.
I think the admin of FlightPC.net website is in fact working hard in support of his website, as here every stuff is quality based stuff. PCs worth every single penny. Yes, it’s a premium system—but the performance, build quality, and support make it a no-brainer. This PC will last me years, and it already outperforms anything I could’ve built myself. FlightPC.net delivers true value, not just flashy specs.
