Mark’s original computer was purchased from Alienware, excellent computer from the great company, with lot’s of power and features. However, in the computer world time goes fast and it was the time to get the PC up to speed again. So here is what www.FlightPC.us did:

1. We doubled the processor speed (from single 2.2GHz to Intel dual-core

3.6GHz CPU, with possibility to overclock it (make it faster) later.

 

2. We doubled the size and speed of RAM memory, from 2048MB of

old DDR1 memory to 4096MB of new DDR2 memory in DUAL Mode, which

effectively is 16 times faster than DDR1 memory; with possibility to

overclock it (make it faster) later, of course.

 

3. We doubled the video card processing power (from single old

Radeon card to two Professional grade nVidia Quadro FX 3400/4400

graphics cards (which allowed Marks to have 4 Hi-Definition 1080p MONITORS,

side by side).

 

4. Mark’s PC received new, server-grade, highly dependable modular power supply with 1,000 Watts of Peak Power (which of course gives us more stable power and current for future upgrades).

 

5. We installed professional grade Asus Premium motherboard with Japanese solid

capacitors and with High Fidelity 7.1 enhanced surround sound

accelerator unit.

 

6. Will replaced all of the old original fans with new models, and

improved air flow with additional fans and server-standard cable

management.

 

7. Microsoft Windows 7 Ultimate Edition with Service Pack 1 and

Microsoft Office 2010 Professional Plus Enterprise Edition replaced Windows 7 Home Edition and Office 2007.

 

8. Plus 12-months Maintance and Repair Service Plan.

9. Multiple extra features, such as: two Hot Swappable Server-grade SATA Bays, CPU Custom Heatsink with 92mm Fan,  Custom North Bridge Three Cooler,  Video Cards PCI Slot Exhaust Fan/Cooler.

All www.FlightPC.net / www.FlightPC.us custom build computers come with optional 12 month Service Plan. The Service Plan include all necessary diagnostics and testing (including remote testing) on the software and hardware to find out what are the problems and issues with the customer’s computer; fixing those issues and problems with free of charge labor. Benchmarking of user’s computer to find out where are the bottlenecks are, what can be done to speed up the PC, and what are the best ways to upgrade and update the computer. Tweaking and fine-tuning the computer, final goal being – PC is working fast and reliable at all the times. The Service Plan include such tasks, as disk clean up, defragmentation of all partitions, hard drive damaged blocks check and cluster integrity checking, registry scans, operating system patching, “hot fixes” installations, page file managing, and of course anti-virus and anti-worm scans, etc. All the labor, work and repairs are free of charge, and are included in 12 months Service Plan. Installation of anti-virus, anti-fishing, anti-spyware software is also free of charge, and is included in 12 months Service Plan. The only part that the customer is responsible is the purchase of any hardware parts that are defective or go bad, due to different reasons, including electrical surges, etc.
